Layering

Winter is all about layering, and I have found the perfect layering piece in this waterfall sleeveless jacket from Miss Pap! It's perfect for building up an outfit as it can be worn open to not completely cover the details of the outfit but to add some warmth.  I'm also crazy about these knee high boots from Little Mistress... I've been practically living in my black ones so I wanted to find a similar pair in a different shade. They are a bit pricey but you really do get what you pay for with boots, I think you should always spend a little more if you are after a pair to last you a long time.

It's Sequin Time

Now that the last weekend of November is here, it is finally time to grab that faux fur and put your sequins on as the Christmas party season is upon us! I'm hoping to get a few party looks up for anyone who is in need of some inspo as I have seen so many gorgeous things about already. This A/W, bronze has made it's mark in the Metallics world and is pretty much everywhere, I love anything Metallic so the more the merrier in my view! I love to mix sequins with soft fabrics such as faux suede and velvet which is what I have gone for on this look with this high waisted velvet skort, it's super soft and super comfy! This jacket is life also, how gorgeous is it! Don't forget as it's Cyber weekend Missguided have 25% off every single thing today so get shopping!!

What I've Been Up To \\ London & PLT Blogger Lunch

So I really want to apologise for my disappearing act as I haven't posted in just over a week and I feel so guilty because I have so many outfits that I need to shoot - But I do have a good excuse (if there is such a thing) as I have been super busy up in London! So I thought I would show you what I've been up to as I love to throw in a lifestyle post from time to time and think I will make it a more regular thing on my blog so that my readers (you) can get to know me a little better. What do you think?

Enough of the rambling anyway... So last week as I said I was in London for a few days and this was mainly due to the lovely girls at Pretty Little Thing inviting me to their #PLTCyberParty event on Thursday which was just so much fun! The girls had arranged a blogger get together in prep for Cyber Weekend. The event took place at Pizza East in Shoreditch, and I can openly admit that I am suffering from major withdrawals as the food was crazy good! The afternoon consisted of pizza, prossecco, goodie bags, cyber chat and best of all getting to meet some amazing bloggers and of course the PLT girls. Some exciting things coming up so do keep an eye out for that! The #PLTCyberParty starts online on the 27th (THIS FRIDAY!!!) but in the run up to Cyber Weekend they already have amazing offers and deals which you can shop here.

As it is Christmas season now too I also took advantage of being in London as there is no prettier place this time of year... so as you can see I was pretty snap happy with all the Christmasness that was going on around me. Popped over to Covent Garden to do a little bit of shopping, eating and drinking. I have to say how absolutely beautiful it is at Christmas. Can you tell i'm Christmas mad?? Also went over to Leicester Square on the last night where I discovered the most amazing thing in my life so far... a Haagen Dazs restaurant?! How have I only just discovered this? Have I been living under a rock? So many questions! I seriously recommend you go if you haven't already - wow just wow!

So to sum up I have been pretty busy but if you don't already then follow my Instagram (amber_perry) if you want to keep up with what I'm doing, where I am and also updates on posts and exciting things to come :) Also these pictures were just taken on my iPhone so apologies that the images aren't the greatest quality. I need to invest in a smaller camera!

Checked Out

Hey everyone!
Today's look has got me all excited for Christmas with this red check skirt and faux fur stole. Not long now, what is it? 6 weeks or something? Wahhhh i'm too excited!! But besides that I do absolutely love the print on this skirt, I don't own many red clothes, it's not a colour I reach for if i'm honest. But I adore this skirt, I can see i'm going to be wearing this a lot!

Leather And Suede

A little bit of leather and suede for you this afternoon... How nice is this faux leather jacket from New Look? I love the studded detail on this piece it bring that edge to a look that you need sometimes to finish it off. This faux suede khaki skirt is also to die! I love mixing fabrics in an outfit and suede and leather are always a winning combo. All items linked below :)

Oversized Coats

Happy 5th November!

I'm far too excited about it being Bonfire Night... Someone hand me a sparkler ASAP. But anyway on to today's post and a cute little Autumn OOTD for you. Oversized coats are the one, there's nothing like feeling cosy and comfortable through the colder months... This one from New Look is one of those go-to coats that you will find yourself picking out day after day, look how chic it makes a simple outfit like this look. Also I am really loving these mini bags at the moment, I want a mini tote next!

Enjoy your evening :) Amb xo

Feathers And Lace \\ Lucy Mecklenburgh For PLT

I can't believe today is the 1st of November (shocked face emoji) this year has just flown, in 2 months time it will be my 1 year anniversary for my blog! I just can't believe it! So now that we are in November, winter is officially upon us... So an all black OOTD is definitely suitable. Pretty Little Thing very kindly sent out a piece from Lucy Mecklenburgh's new collection... This is her second collection with PLT and if you haven't had a look yet then you really need to! She has extremely pretty pieces with lots of detailing. I absolutely love feathers on clothing I can't help buy buy everything with feathers on!! This blazer is so perfect for over the festive season you could dress it down with ripped boyfriend jeans or dress it up like I have with these flared trousers which are also from the Lucy Meck collection. I wanted to add a little more detail with this lace bralet from New Look to just finish off the look.
