Venice // Prima Parte

So I got back from Venice on Friday and I already have the worst withdrawals. I can't explain what an absolutely beautiful city it is and I highly recommend that you go there as soon as possible! I wanted to share a few of the photos from our trip and what we got up to... so first of all we stayed in the beautiful Starhotels Splendid, and as you can see from the pictures it was absolutely stunning! The rooms were modern but with the Venice feel to them and we had cute little handmade marshmallows and Fudge left for us on arrival. The hotel was in the heart of Venice in San Marco, Gondola's, shops and restaurants were on the doorstep so we were in the perfect location!

The Gondola along the Grand Canal is obviously one of the main attractions of Venice and I was so excited to go on one! We paid 80 euro which seems a lot but it really was worth it. They took us around the Grand Canal which was beautiful and through the narrow Canals. The city has a real authenticity about it and the scenic views on the Gondola were just stunning.

 The Outfit...

I have to say how lucky I was to bag this jacket.... I'd been looking for the very similar Zara coat that's been sold out everywhere! Randomly looked on Topshop new in, 1 left in stock and it was my size! I couldn't have added it to bag any quicker I'm sure I didn't even blink until I had the confirmation email LOL. Anyway thank gwad because it is so beautiful, it's such high quality and looks effortless on, it really does. It has been sold out ever since but I have linked it below and one similar from Missguided.

We had lunch in a gorgeous authentic Italian restaurant in Piazza San Marco (St Mark's Square) which was delicious, fresh pasta's and pizza's as you would expect! It was beautiful to just walk along and see all these stunning buildings including the Basilica and the Clock Tower which leads you to a street known as the "Merceria" where there are many shopping streets before you reach the Rialto Bridge. We also made many pit stops to grab Gelato's (ice-cream to you and I) which were insane. Every flavour combination you could think of! For any ice-cream lovers like me then you need to go just for that!

Keep up to date for the next instalment over on my instagram - amber_perry
